| Well, it seems like everything screws up lately. Everything I try to do, everything I try to change screws up. I could think of at least ~5 things that screwed up. Let me list out the screw-points (I used so many times “screw”, oh here I used it again, how annoying): - - - - - - and my most important program CorelDraw 11 – I can’t export my images anymore, so if anyone wants an image form, I am sorry, but I wouldn’t be able to draw it! Now to the image: This is a vector image as you can all see, I’ve done it based on a photo. It is very amateur and I done it because I got inspired by the many professional and non-professional Vector Artists in DA and everywhere else! I’ve done screen shots of the image, because as I said above I can’t export my images anymore. So I’ve been reading about Adobe Illustrator CS4 recently (in its original book) and as it seems Ai is a very easy vector program to work with. However there are much easier programs the Ai and that is CorelDraw. What is better in my opinion: - every closed and unclosed path you create is automatically placed on a new layer, without even asking you - you may place everything you want everywhere, on which layer you want - you don’t have to care about the layers - you may make 100000000000 (okay after the 400 it gets crowded) of paths, which will all have their own layer and the program wouldn’t start to slow down, as Ai would do - the transparent tool is much easier to use - the creating of paths is damn easy, you don’t even need to use the handle bars of the points and you don’t need to practice creating smooth paths as you would have to do on Ai - you could easily duplicate a layer by pressing ctrl+D - you could easily move transform, change, turn, mirror, do effects on layers and so on by simply clicking on them without looking for their layer - okay, the shortcuts at Ai are much better - okay, there are maybe some good effects on Ai to do, but that doesn’t make the program easier to use then CorelDraw However as easy as this program is, I am always too lazy to correct the mistakes I do on my images. For this image I needed ~5h and it has maybe more then ~200 layers, but I don’t know, since I don’t have to care about the layers. I admire the Vector-Artists that draw so simply awesome and beautiful, who have the fantasy to create vector images. As a conclusion I have to say I think vector images are pretty easy to do (in my opinion) and I feel like an not doing an art at all. I always wanted to be able to color in Ps but as I found out, I am just too lazy and incapable to do so. |
