Decipher

This tale tells the story of a member of the science division, Nova, who works at decoding the structure of Innocence. However it's not going so great so far. While she struggles to progress with her work, she befriends Allen, who has taken on the habit of crashing on her couch at the lab for some company. Unfortunately for the both of them, Nova isn't much of a people person, but they still form an awkward friendship (or more???). One day, however, when a Komurin incident at the lab messes up the innocence samples, Nova makes a surprising discovery and everything changes after that. Against her wish, as she is terrified of venturing into the field, she is sent out to support groups and other divisions of the Order to teach the other scientists about the discovery. On one trip to France their travel group, consisting of Nova, Allen, Ravi and Bookman, gets ambushed by Akuma looking for an Innocence which was kept by the local branch. They manage to save the Innocence but Nova finds it is acting odd, exhibiting unexpected activity. When a suspicion dawns on her, she decides not to tell Komui about the strange happenings...

I was going to say that I wrote this at 16 while still in school and use the fact that English isn't my first language as an excuse for this atrocity, but then I remembered that I wasn't 16 y/o when Welcome to the black parade and consequently the DGM hype happened, but actually 19 and about to graduate, so...uh. But I don't care anymore. Just take it and enjoy the cringey self-insert. *throws arms up and leaves*

Also: Forever salty that I can't use fancy characters in the title. This was meant to be named D3c||pher and I will die mad about it.
